I’m guessing you’ve found your way here because you’re celebrating an upcoming milestone - whether you’re marrying your soulmate, expecting a new addition to your family, wanting to capture a memory-making adventure with your growing family, or simply “just ‘cos”, congratulations!!

With every sunrise and sunset in this big, beautiful world of ours, life is full of wonderful milestones and small moments worth cherishing. As time passes, it often feels like everything is whizzing by in a blink of an eye, as we cling to the fleeting moments and our fading memories. 

While we can’t stop the clock, it’d be my true honour to be able to help you intentionally preserve your small, big, and in-between moments - with emotion-filled photos that tell your story and tangible mementos to shape your legacy.

my why

It may be cliched but I was always that girl with a camera, photographing everything and nothing. But becoming a mom was the moment everything “clicked”, an epiphany that turned my entire approach to photography on its head.

From holding her in my arms to chasing her around the playground and reading bedtime stories, it dawned upon me that life is truly fleeting. With each passing day, I’m watching my daughter change and become her own person, and it fills me with a deep longing to capture every moment of it. 

As a sentimentalist, I want to document and preserve every small and big moment so that when she’s older, we can laugh about it, cry about it, and celebrate our journey in this life together. While I’ll never get these moments back again, I take comfort and joy in knowing our photos will hold my memories true. 

my approach

If I were to summarise my approach in two words, intention, and connection. 

As a documentary-style photographer, I’m always looking out for the raw, honest, and sometimes imperfect moments between you and your loved ones. Whether it’s your dad struggling to hold back his tears, mom having a meltdown because she can’t find her lipstick, or you and your friends laughing so hard that you can’t breathe and snot’s on the verge of flying out, those perfectly imperfect moments hold so much beauty and emotion. 

Holding space for you to be and to feel 100% yourself, you’ll always feel seen, heard, and validated when you’re with me - no pretenses. You do your thing while I quietly observe and hang out from the sidelines (in a non-creepy way, LOL!!!). There may also be times when I’ll ask you a million questions about your favourite shows or songs just to get you chatting, and digging deep so I can really capture any emotions that may be hiding below the surface. 

While I may gently provide directions on where to stand or prompts on where to look now and then, you’ll never have to fake a smile or strike an awkward pose. I’m here to capture your story as authentically as possible so when you look back on your photos, you’ll see a true representation of yourself and be transported back in time, reliving exactly how it felt in that moment - and perhaps, even discover pieces of yourself that you never realized existed. 

Ultimately, once everything’s done and dusted, my goal is for you to leave the experience feeling like you’ve found a friend in me.
